Progress Not Perfection, Inc. is dedicated to addressing homelessness in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through our comprehensive program. We provide support to over 30 clients through our supportive living housing initiative. Recognizing the critical need for stable housing, our program offers access to safe and supportive living environments for individuals experiencing homelessness. We prioritize creating a nurturing and empowering atmosphere where clients can rebuild their lives and work towards self-sufficiency.
Our program goes beyond shelter by providing essential resources, case management, and supportive services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Financial Literacy Class (FDIC) Money Smart Program
Over the course of 12 weeks, Progress Not Perfection, Inc. offers Financial Literacy Classes in a dedicated five-station computer lab once a month on Mondays, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We provide a comprehensive and interactive learning experience for a limited number of 5-10 clients. Our program covers essential financial topics, equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions. Participants have access to the necessary resources and technology in the computer lab to engage in hands-on activities and interactive lessons.
Our classes focus on budgeting, saving, credit management, responsible borrowing, and other relevant financial topics. By offering a small-group setting, we ensure personalized attention and foster an environment conducive to active participation. The Financial Literacy Classes at Progress Not Perfection, Inc. are designed to empower individuals with practical tools and insights that they can apply to their personal finances. Over the 12-week program, we aim to promote financial well-being and support participants in achieving their financial goals.

These events serve as platforms for employers to showcase their opportunities and engage directly with our program participants.

Over a period of 12 weeks, Progress Not Perfection, Inc. provides Employment Assistance Services in a dedicated five-station computer lab every Wednesday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This consistent and structured program offers individuals valuable support in their job search journey. Our experienced staff is available to assist participants with resume preparation, conducting mock interviews, and providing job search assistance. In the computer lab, individuals have access to the necessary resources and technology to develop professional resumes that showcase their skills and experiences.

Additionally, our team offers guidance on effective job search strategies, including leveraging online platforms and networking opportunities. Our mentors serve as trusted advisors and role models, offering valuable insights and advice based on their own experiences. They help clients navigate challenges, set goals, and make informed decisions in various areas, including career development, education, personal growth, and life skills. At Progress Not Perfection, Inc., we believe that everyone deserves access to a supportive mentor who can help unlock their full potential. Through our Mentoring Program, we are fostering meaningful connections and empowering individuals to achieve their goals, create positive change, and thrive in all aspects of their lives.
Basic Need Project
Our Basic Need Project at Progress Not Perfection, Inc. is a crucial initiative aimed at providing immediate assistance to individuals in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania who are experiencing hardship. We understand that meeting basic needs is fundamental to a person’s well-being and stability. Through our project, we strive to ensure that no individual is left without essential resources. Upon request and based on the need, we provide assistance to 50 clients with vital necessities such as food, clothing, personal hygiene items, and household essentials.
We work closely with local partners, community organizations, and volunteers to gather and distribute these resources efficiently and effectively. Our dedicated team assesses each client’s specific needs and provides tailored support to help them navigate difficult circumstances. The Basic Need Project serves as a lifeline for individuals facing temporary setbacks, offering them a helping hand and restoring hope. At Progress Not Perfection, Inc., we believe in the power of compassion and solidarity, and through our Basic Need Project, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need within our community.
